The Arkansas Public Service Commission has set a target date of May 3 to lift the moratorium to suspend all disconnections of electric services per the State of Emergency order issued by Governor Asa Hutchinson. This means South Central Arkansas Electric Cooperative will resume disconnection of electric services for non-payment. If you have a delinquent balance on your electric bill, please call us at 870-246-6701 to see what payment arrangements may be available to you. All accounts not made current or not set up with payment arrangements may be disconnected for non-payment.Read more

Levelized Billing

If your use of electricity varies a great deal from month to month or from season to season, your electric bill will also vary a great deal. If this puts a strain on your household budget, or if you would prefer to pay approximately the same amount every month, you might want to sign up for Levelized Billing.

With Levelized Billing, the amount of your bill will be based on the average of 12 month's consumption history.

This means you will not pay the exact same amount every month, but it will be close to the same. Some months the amount you actually owe will be more than the average, some months it will be less.

By including your full name above, you are authorizing South Central Arkansas Electric Cooperative, Inc (SCAEC) to enter your account into the levelized billing program. I understand that I can discontinue my participation in this program by notifying SCAEC in writing. SCAEC may terminate this agreement and remove my account from levelized billing any time payment is not received by the bill due date. I understand that I may be refused participation if my account is not current. Accounts removed from levelized billing will not be allowed to re-enter the program for a period of 1 year.
