A customer who wants to stop service must notify the utility at least 5 days before the requested disconnection date. You may request to be disconnected by completing the form below.
The minimum 5 day notice begins:
- On the day the customer telephones the utility;
- When the customer personally informs the local business office; or,
- 3 days after the customer has mailed the notice to the utility.
A residential customer may designate a consenting person/agency to receive a copy of any disconnect notice issued. Upon written notification, the utility shall mail an additional copy of a disconnect notice to the designated person/agency.
